Meet Benjamin Lockwood

I’m Benjamin Lockwood, a deaf business owner/founder of DFW Dung Beetle Pet Waste Removal, LLC.

Previously, I worked as a welder, apprentice electrician/solar energy customer service representative, maintenance worker, material Handler, and auditor.

In 2025, I decided to start my own small business due to years of struggling to find a job free from toxic environments and deaf discrimination, compounded by financial difficulties. Throughout these challenges, my dog has been a source of positivity. My business goals include meticulously picking up every pet waste and hauling it away, akin to what Dung Beetles do. Ensuring customers satisfaction, expanding the business, and adding new services in the future.

Dog Waste Removal Service Rates

Service Frequency

These prices are for areas up to half an acre. If the area is larger than half an acre, an additional $7 will be charged per half acre. If you have more than four dogs, an additional $2 will be charged per dog. You will receive a free estimate and schedule your initial visit!

Will I be charged a fee for pet waste haul away?

No, it’s completely free. We will send you an email or text, or knock on your door to let you know that we’ve cleaned your yard.

My dogs get aggressive and are likely to bite anyone, what I can do?

Aggressive dogs must stay inside your house until your yard is cleaned. If DFW Dung Beetle arrives and finds that you are not home and your aggressive dog is still in the yard, they will be unable to provide the service for safety reasons. You will be charged a $10 fee to cover the cost of time and gas, and your service day will need to be rescheduled.

My dogs are friendly and enjoy meeting new people, what can I do?

Your friendly dogs are welcome to hang out while the DFW Dung Beetle uniformed worker is cleaning your yard up.

Can I choose any service day?

It’s depends on DFW Dung Beetle’s schedule and will do the best to find a day that fits your schedule.

Will DFW Dung Beetle service operate in all weather conditions?

DFW Dung Beetle does not operate during mixed rain/snow, snowstorms, thunderstorms, or heavy rain due to safety concerns on hazardous roads. If your scheduled service day falls under these conditions, it will need to be delayed or rescheduled, or you will receive a refund.
